About
With 14 years of experience as a chiropractor, my journey into this field began with a personal struggle. Throughout high school and college, I faced chronic illness, which led me to explore a holistic approach to health. This exploration guided me to chiropractic care, a path that profoundly changed my life.
In my 30s, after becoming a mother to two wonderful boys, now aged 7 and 9, I confronted and addressed some deeply buried childhood trauma. This personal healing journey has made me a trauma-informed provider and a more empathetic mother. Each of my sons has unique developmental challenges, and parenting them intentionally has been both a rewarding and enlightening experience.
Before returning to work after my second son was born, I became certified in the Webster Technique. My son was in a breech position, and using this technique successfully helped him to flip, allowing me to have a smooth labor and delivery experience.
Motherhood opened my eyes to the gaps in our healthcare system, especially in supporting new mothers. Through my learning with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), I have gained specialized tools and knowledge in pediatrics. This education empowers me to provide better care and answers for new moms navigating their journeys.
I’m looking forward to assisting you with your own health or that of your children.
