MontanaDr. Kate is the absolute best. She takes her time, explains things very well and really cares about her patients. She is without a doubt one of, if not the best chiropractor to whom I’ve ever gone to. I can not recommend her enough.

Specialties?
Mainly three things:
- Understanding the connection between emotional stress and physical health and how to identify and address these connections in my patients.
- Understanding your prescription and nutrition history to address challenges related to nutrient depletion. (Masters of Clinical Nutrition)
- Alleviating pain and restoring motion by manipulating the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and organs. (Fascial Release Training)
I also work with birth preparation, new babies, and kids.
Where did you train?
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University at Buffalo, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. I then pursued a Doctorate of Chiropractic at the New York Chiropractic College. Additionally, I hold a Master’s of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition (MSACN).
I have received certification from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) in the Webster Technique and have undergone extra training in pediatric chiropractic care. I am also trained in Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT), which is the chiropractic version of cranial sacral therapy, and am completing a certification in Neuro-emotional Technique (NET). Furthermore, I am a trauma-informed practitioner.
Will I have to make lifestyle changes?
Probably, but these are usually relatively minor. I’ll often send my patients home with “homework.” This could involve breathing practice, visualizations, or foods to avoid or include. The changes we need to improve health are usually surprisingly manageable!
Do you treat children?
Yes! You can learn more about that work here.
What’s this about the nervous system?
I love assisting with nervous system regulation as stems from my training in the Nero-Emotional Technique. While many people associate chiropractic with muscle and bone work, I utilize a combination of muscle testing, specific adjustments, and emotional recall techniques to help you identify and release emotional stressors. This process restores balance to the nervous system and promotes overall health. If this sounds interesting to you, please book an intake appointment. I can’t wait to assist!
Is this the right place for athletic injuries?
It is, however I often work with clients who are interested in addressing older injuries and the imbalances that have come with coping with those injuries. Sports medicine isn’t one of my first specialty areas. However, if you want a chiropractor who will listen deeply and help you unravel the complexities of your health case – you’re in the right place.
Do you take insurance?
After much consideration and reflection on how best to serve your holistic health needs, I’ve made the decision to transition to a cash-based model in my practice. This decision allows me the freedom to offer the comprehensive services and methodologies that align with my vision of holistic care.
While this means I won’t be able to accept insurance, please know that I am fully committed to supporting you through this adjustment. I’m here to help navigate the process and provide insight and education on alternative options, such as Superbills, for submitting to insurance companies.
Your health and well-being are my top priorities, and I believe this change will enable me to provide the highest level of care possible. I’ll continue to accept payment in the form of cash, check, or credit card, and payment will be required at the time of service.
Medicare patients – I am a non-participating medicare provider.
